What Is Child Dedication?
A promise to raise your child in faith.
We're honored to partner with you on your journey as parents. We want to be a consistent source of encouragement, strength, and resources as you raise your child to have a personal relationship with Jesus.

We keep each dedication small, usually just two or three families, so it feels personal for you and your family.

Sign up
Fill out the child dedication form. We'll follow up by email with your dedication date and everything you need.

Parent homework
Take some time to think and pray about who you hope your child becomes. It's a conversation between mom and dad.

Parent orientation
Join a short orientation on Zoom. We'll walk through what dedication looks like and answer all your questions.

Dedication Sunday
Your family joins us on stage during a Sunday service, where we pray over your child and celebrate together.
Parent Homework
936 weeks from birth to graduation.
How we parent today, tomorrow, and the next day matters. This short exercise helps you keep the end in mind.

Choose a word
Picture your child launching into the world as a young adult. What word do you want to describe them? Kind, generous, honest, courageous, or something different.

Pick a phrase or verse
Is there a phrase or life verse you want them to know as they grow? Maybe "I can do all things through Christ" or "I am fearfully and wonderfully made."

Pray over your child
Pray over your child using this word and verse, asking God for the strength to raise them in it all their days.

Send it to us
Email us your word, phrase, or verse. During the dedication, we'll pray it over your child by name.

We'll save seats for your family, check in with you when you arrive, and celebrate your child together on stage.

Child dedication is a moment during a Sunday service where parents commit to raising their child to know and follow Jesus, and our church family commits to supporting them along the way.
Is dedication the same as baptism?
No. Dedication is a commitment you make as parents. Baptism is a decision your child makes for themselves once they can express their own decision to follow Jesus and understand what baptism means.
How many families are dedicated at once?
Usually two or three families, so the moment stays personal for each family.
Can family and friends come?
Yes! Invite anyone you'd like. We'll ask how many people are coming so we can save seats for your family.
What do we need to do before the dedication?
Join the parent orientation on Zoom, complete the parent homework, and send us a family picture and the number of people attending.
